St. Bernard’s Drive Day June 19^th 2022

Meeting Point 1

Todays drive day will leave from the VCCA Club Room carpark promptly at (1376 Old Cleveland Rd. Carindale at 9:00 AM (arrive from 8:30).

We will drive south on the M1 and take the North Beenleigh exit (just over the Logan River).  Upon entering the roundabout, we will take the third exit under the M1 overpass and exit towards Logan Street. Continue towards Logan Street, taking the right turn at the traffic lights into Logan Street.  Follow Logan Street westbound, until the road takes a left-turn into Boundary Street.  Continue along Boundary Street until you come to the next roundabout.  Take the second exit onto Hammel Street and continue to travel south until you come to the next roundabout (intersection of Lehman’s Rd. and Milne Streets).  We will take the third exit onto Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road.

We will travel approximately 20 km’s until we reach the next roundabout on our drive, which will be a Tamborine Village.  Enter the roundabout and take the first exit onto Tamborine Mountain Rd.  Travel approximately 1km and enter the carpark of the Bearded Dragon Hotel on the left.

Meeting Point 2 – Bearded Dragon Motel

We will depart the bearded Dragon Hotel at 10:00 Am and travel south along Tamborine Mountain Rd. to Tamborine Mountain Village.  We will turn right into Main Street (from Geissmann Dr.) for our morning tea stop.  There are numerous coffee shops etc. This stop will be for approximately 1 hr, upon which we will depart for St. Bernard’s at approximately 11:30 AM.

Lunch Stop – St. Bernard’s Motel and Restaurant @ 12:00 PM
