The AMHF has organised its 2020 National Festivel in Albury - Wodonga. For more information and accomodation options see amhf.org.au/2020Tour.
This is not "just another rally", not even a variation of the traditional rally. If you have been to Cooly Rocks, Chrysler's on the Murray, the Golden Oldies Tour or Bay to Birdwood you will know there is more than one way to skin a cat. We are turning tradition on its ear; we are giving you something new, fresh, family-fun and affordable.
This festival cannot be compared with international events held in the 1970's and 1980's. Times have changed; attitudes have changed; peoples priorities have changed. All of the organising committee come with new and different ideas. We have no preconceived ideas of what should or shouldn’t, or can or can’t be done. We have the attitude of, "Why can't it be done!" We will deliver to you, a festival you will not want to miss!
The purpose of this festival (apart from having fun) is to demonstrate the importance of historic vehicles to the public, media and government departments. Ensure you are there to promote this historical event and show the strength of the movement.
Australian Historic Motoring Federation Inc. (AHMF) is hosting an affordable and fun event for all to attend. We have secured partnership packages with all savings passed onto the entrants.
What is AHMF?
Australian Historic Motoring Federation Inc. (AHMF) is the national peak body for all historic motoring in Australia. AHMF is a federation of the state and territory based motoring councils (i.e. QHMC). These councils represent well in excess of 1,000 historic motoring clubs and in the vicinity of 100,000 motoring enthusiasts across Australia.
Who can attend?
This event is open to all historic vehicles, 25 years and older and it is expected 700+ vehicles will participate. This is an AHMF event through ALL are welcome. If your club is not a member of an AHMF State/Territory Council, you are still welcome. (This event does not cater for Hot Rods, Street rods or highly modified vehicles as they are represented by their own organisations.)
This is an international event. Most of us have friends overseas involved in the old car movement. Tell them about the Festival. Convince them to come along. Make it easy for them; lend them one of your spare vehicles. We already have attendees from Singapore and New Zealand. It will be great to welcome entrants from several other countries also.
