From the Mountains to the Points

Greetings fellow Trumpy enthusiasts

As it's starting to warm up during the day, its time for a slight change to usual drive, with a cooler evening run to Moreton Bay.

This run will take us to a couple of well known mountains in the Brisbane area and then a leisurely drive to the bayside, with us reaching our destination of the Grand View Hotel at Cleveland Point for dinner.

The meeting point is the Botanical Gardens at the base of Mt. Coot-tha (Mt. Coot-tha Road).  We will then do a lap of Mt Coot-tha and head to the Mt Gravatt Lookout to take in the view of Brisbane, from the other side of town.  There is nothing better than hearing the sounds of Triumphs echoing their way up Mt Cootha Road and down again!

After leaving Mt Gravatt, we will head across to the recreation reserve at Wellington Point and then on to the hotel at Cleveland Point.

Departure time is 4.00pm from the Botanical Gardens and allowing for drive time and stops, this should have us at Cleveland Point in nice time for a cold beverage and to meet our dinner booking of 6.30pm.
