This race-ready MK3 Spitfire with a long racing history, including many 6 hour relay races during the late 70's and 80's. Winner of the NSW Lovell's Springs Sportscar Spares state series in 1980. Fully rebuilt with new chassis to the same specifications as it ran in 1980. Eligible for various historic categories. Is complete and has run 1 GEAR meeting at Lakeside in July and the 2017 Triumph Nationals since rebuild. Available with 3 sets of wheels 8.5 inch as pictured fitted with old slicks 7.5" and 5.5" fitted with Yokohama A050 tyres which have done 26 laps. Engine has twin 40DCOE Webber's, SAH 57 camshaft, worked head, fully balanced. Close ratio gearbox, Detroit Locker differential and modified suspension.
